ASHLEY MILLS MONAGHAN
Ashley Mills Monaghan is an award winning children’s musician and author that specializes in creating intentional material and resources for early childhood development. After teaching in the preschool classrooms for over a decade, Ashley decided to focus primarily on musical endeavors which has led to awards, songwriting and performing for children’s media and speaking at teaching conferences. She is a member of ASCAP, the Recording Academy and Children’s Music Network. Ashley hosts preschool music classes for schools in her community while continuing to work on several new creative projects. Listen to her anywhere you get your music!
Preschool Music Programming

Who is Ashley Mills Monaghan?
Ashley Mills Monaghan, a former preschool educator with decades of experience working and writing music and books for young children, started releasing her music in 2020. Since then, Monaghan has been nominated and won songwriting competitions around the world. Last year, Monaghan was nominated for 'Global Artist of the Year' by Funky Kids Radio and her song ‘If I Tell Myself I Can/ Fish' with Uncle Dox took first place in their international songwriting competition.

Monaghan’s debut album, 'Good Times,' has collected several rave reviews by educators, parents and popular online journals comparing her to Laurie Beckner and Natalie Merchant and labeling her ‘The One To Watch’ in the kindie space by Digital Journal. Monaghan’s debut has also been featured as the High Five Album of the Week for Kinderling Kids Radio.

In addition, Monaghan has been featured as a special guest on several YouTube channels and podcasts, been placed on popular playlists, featured as 'Antoinette the Ant' on 'Bugs!' for tonies, received radio play around the world and remains dedicated to being a mom of two boys, running the music programs at local pre-schools in her community and creating new content for her classes and upcoming projects. Ashley is a member of Children's Music Network, ASCAP and the Recording Academy.
